All you hear.these days, is how bad teenagers are. Too busy on their phones, rude, and always in trouble. The 3 groups of highschool students completing in the Battle of the Bands, were very pleasant, dedicated to their band, and with the end result is a well orchestrated 👍well fined tune band.
The Merchant of Possums & Crimson Rose both bands are from St. Roch Catholic Secondary School. School of Rock stems from students at a Music School called, School of Rock located at 49 Queen St. Streetsville (Mississauga)

Sunday On Family Day
Sunday was a big improvement compared with Saturday, in the weather category. Sunday was ☁️ cloudy with a bit of drizzle. We had a more productive and fun 😀 day, a day devoted to Families.
Brampton Rotary Rib N Roll has been shut down for the remainder of Saturday due to the lousy raining weather. Sorry folks.
Making the Best of a Soggy Wet Saturday
Making the best of it in a situation that one can describe as being a total washout. For myself I accepted the challenge to do the best that I could. Hopefully, not to get sick try to make something out it.
Although we shut it down at 2:00 pm, and the Saturday pictures wasn't what we hoped for, I did managed to get something, and here they are.

One of the most enjoyable things as a photographer is meeting the variety people who come out to the Rotary Rib N Roll rain or shine, to have a great time, either enjoying the great food, move and or dance to the great music. Whatever the case may be, ROTARY RIB N ROLL IS THE PLACE TO BE THIS WEEKEND
Rotary Club Brampton Rib N Roll 2026 - A Salute to Rotary Members & Volunteers
Emcee - Michael Sharpe
The Rib N Roll would not be the same without Michael Sharpe. He reminds me of the many DJ's from the various Rock radio stations which includes CKGM & CHOM in Montreal. The Old 1050 CHUM Q107, and Brampton's own CFNY FM. He gets the crowd revved up and ready for some great Rock N Roll, along with being passionate about the cause of raising money for children's charities. Way to go Michael.
Cheers Fusion All-Stars & Starlight Destiny Baton Twirling Club
An incredibly talented and well disciplined young girls, performing their amazing skills in twirling , cheerleading, and tossing girls or batons in the air and catching them on the way down.
Part of Family Day on Sunday a Rotary Brampton Rib N Roll for 2025, and I am sure they will be back again this year for 2026.
All this before the rain came down.
A Chilly Saturday 2025
It might have been on the slight fridget side but the spirits were warm and everyone had a great time at the Rotary Club Rib N Roll last year.
I had habd warmers in my jacket pockets to keep my hands warm.
As you can see from the highlights from Saturday, the cold weather did not stop the patrons from having a a whole lot of fun.

2025 Brampton Rib N Roll Friday Highlights
On a particular chilly Friday evening, the spirits were warm and electric, as people enjoyed themselves, listening to Freedom Train & Marc Ekin Trio. Chomping down on those incredible Ribs, or other delicious food. Along with a Beer. Everyone had a tremendous time.
